The breathtaking Cape Peninsula and the Cape Winelands are two of the most beautiful areas within South Africa. If you are short on time this combination tour of the Cape Peninsula and Cape Winelands will be ideal.

Starting in the morning you will drive through the beautiful coastal villages such as Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay via the Victoria Road in the shadow of the Twelve Apostles.
This road closely follows the coastline as it curves round to Hout Bay – the coastal road was planned by Thomas Bain, a famous road engineer who is responsible for many of South Africa’s most beautiful mountain passes.

The Cape Highlights Combo Tour will finally reach Cape Point at the very tip of the Cape Peninsula within the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
As you make your way to the Cape Point Lighthouse keep your eyes peeled for baboons, rhebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok, eland and over 250 species of bird.
The reserve is also one of the world’s largest breeding grounds for tortoises.

After you have had your fill of Cape Point, the Cape Highlights Combo Tour will continue up the other side of the Cape Peninsula to the heart of the Cape Winelands.
As we travel around False Bay we will drive past the picturesque villages of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg.
Simon’s Town has been an important naval base and harbour for over two centuries.

After this scenic drive we will now arrive in Stellenbosch – the 2nd oldest town in South Africa after Cape Town.
The village is an architectural gem with an elegant mix of 18th century Cape Dutch, Georgian and Victorian buildings.
As the heart of the Cape Winelands, Stellenbosch abounds with top class estates producing excellent wines.
After the tour of the town, we will proceed to our next stop where you can sample a selection of top wines.
At the end of the day filled with spectacular sights we make our way back to Cape Town.
